Potential zkSync Airdrop Guide – How to be eligible?

Welcome to cryptomarketblog, the number one blog for crypto education. Here we explain the topics of cryptocurrency using examples so that anyone can easily understand them. In this article we are going to show how to be eligible for zkSync Airdrop.

zkSync is a ZK rollup, a trustless protocol that uses cryptographic validity proofs to provide scalable and low-cost transactions on Ethereum. In zkSync, computation is performed off-chain and most data is stored off-chain as well. They raised $458 Million funding from many reputable global enterprises.

zkSync has already announced that they will launch their own native token in the future. There is a speculation that Users who’ve done the mainnet and testnet transactions may be eligible for an airdrop in the future. Airdrop is not guaranteed.

How to qualify for this airdrop?

zkSync now has 2 networks, zkSync 1.0 mainnet and zkSync 2.0 testnet. To qualify for airdrop you need to do transactions on both networks. Before starting the airdrop guide do below tasks.

Follow zkSync twitter https://twitter.com/zksync and Discord https://discord.com/invite/M8HSJ9c channel.

Add zkSync testnet to metamask -> Open metamask -> add networks

Network Name: zkSync alpha testnet

New RPC URL: https://zksync2-testnet.zksync.dev

Chain ID: 280

Currency Symbol: ETH

add network to metamask

zkSync 1.0 mainnet – to interact with mainnet you need real money

Go to the https://wallet.zksync.io/account, and connect your wallet to Ethereum mainnet.

Click Top up to add funds to zkSync

top up

You can add funds to zkSync using Credit Card, Exchanges and Bridges. I strongly recommend you to use the zkSync bridge to move ETH from Ethereum mainnet (L1) to zkSync (L2). You should move tokens across L1 and L2 at least 5 times on different dates.

Trade on Zig Zag exchange

Click Swap to access the Zig Zag exchange.

swaps

Zigzag is a decentralized non-custodial order book exchange, powered by zk-rollups. Do some swaps on the platform like ETH-USDC, ETH-USDT etc.

Donate to projects on Gitcoin Via zkSync

Go to the Gitcoin website, sign in with a GitHub account and complete the authorization. You need to create a GitHub account if you don’t have one.

Click the wallet icon and connect your metamask wallet. Then click SEE GITCOIN GRANTS > View All Grants, where you can see the list of projects available. Browse projects and click Add to Cart button to donate funds to the project. It is recommended to add several projects and pay at once for gas savings. When you’re done adding, click the shopping cart icon > check out grants

add to cart

Select the token and enter the amount you want to donate, and click I’m Ready to Checkout > zkSync Checkout and Complete the payment.

NFT Store

Go to the zkSync official website, click NFT, paste the CID code, and click Authorize to Mint NFT > Mint NFT to complete the minting process.

Mint NFT

Mint an NFT on MintSquare – Go to MintSquare website and mint a new NFT on the zkSync testnet. upload the supported image in the website. Give your NFT name, attributes, and click mint to generate NFT.

Make trades and add liquidity on 1kx exchange

1kx exchange is another zkSync DEX, do some swaps, adding liquidity and remove liquidity. 1kx allows single token liquidity pools instead of pool pairs by pairing with its stablecoin.

zkSync 2.0 tutorial

First, you need to get $ETH on Goerli testnet, try any of these faucets

https://goerli-faucet.mudit.blog

https://goerli-faucet.slock.it

https://faucet.paradigm.xyz/

portal.zksync.io/faucet

Go to: http://portal.zksync.io/faucet connect your Goerli testnet and faucet to receive testnet $LINK, $WBTC, $DAI and $USDC tokens.

Click Wallet > Transfer, and commit multiple transfers to any other ERC20 wallet.

Transfer

Then click Bridge and use the bridge to deposit and withdraw funds. Deposit refers to depositing tokens from the Goerli testnet to the zkSync 2.0 testnet, withdraw refers to transferring tokens from the zkSync 2.0 testnet to the Goerli testnet.

Trade on mute exchange

Go to Mute https://testnet.switch.mute.io/swap (DEX on ZkSync), do some swaps, adding liquidity and remove liquidity.

Complete the Crew3 tasks

Go to the https://zksync.crew3.xyz/questboard, connect your wallet and discord. Complete the required tasks.

There is speculation that users who’ve made transactions on the zkSync 1.0 mainnet and zkSync 2.0 testnet may get an airdrop after they launch a token. Please note that there is no guarantee that they will do an airdrop. It’s only speculation.
